Lily goes red, white and blue

Fooled you! No, that is not Lily. I would never do that to her. It is, however, a West Highland White Terrier showing her true red, white and blue colours. Poor dog! I so hope that is not permanent hair colour.

Have a happy Fourth of July if you are in the U.S. If you aren't, have a happy fourth of July too.

I thought you'd gone off the deep end for a second. (And I was all like, "Come in, the water's fine.")

That is one very scary image!!! I wish the dog could take revenge... and paint it's parents hair purple...
or... green!!! ;)

My goodness that's a lot of dye. I'm with you I hope it washes out. I wouldn't do that to my dog but I might try that out on my nepehew next year.

No that poor dog - how wrong!
I'm always amused by the 4th of July celebreations given it means you got rid of us Brits and we got Canada!

Let's hope it's the spray wash-out color. My son wants to spray color his hair black and I worry it won't come out either.

Tilly says that this would raise eyebrows, except she doesn't have eyebrows. She is sending Miss lily lots o' love this holiday weekend!

Belated 4th, how about happy 5th! And O...M...G...! Lily's double looks very patriotic. My groomer neighbor in the complex is always doing stuff like that to dogs he grooms...he threatens Ollie with a lion doo.

I must show this to my husband. He had a Westie that he adored when he was a boy.

Fortunately you didn't hear my scream of horror when I saw the photo! Good job you were just folling us, otherwise I would have come personally to take poor Lily away from you! But I know you love her too much to inflict her something like that. Ciao. A.

I'd say this pooch would be quite happy no matter her color! But, yes, this combo (no matter how appropriate for the day) would quickly become annoying. David
